Petri MF-1

Viewfinder:

Fairly good size and brightness is a little dim but this works great.

Focus screen:
Microprism

Info:

Match needle for the light meter.

Shutter type:

Focal plane
Horizontal traveling cloth curtain.

All mechanical.

Build quality:

Very nice and solid

Look and feel:
Nice looking camera and also quite the nice feel.

Conclusion:

Nice quality camera which is somewhat smaller and lighter than most similar SLRs from the 70s.

Light meter is powered by a mercury battery.
It lacks any mirror lock which can be good for longer exposures and the mirror don't get up first when you use the self-timer.

But the mirror and shutter don't cause that much vibrations so this is not a bigger problem.

Thumbs up:
Build quality and feel

Reliable
All mechanical and battary is is only for the light meter.

Thumbs down:

Mercury battery for the light meter
