Digital Pictures taken with a Canon 500D at ISO100 and I used a M42 to Canon mount adapter  Build quality All metal and great build quality. Conclusion Center sharpness is not bad at all but when it comes to the corners you lose quite a lot especially wide open. This have a little helpful aperture ring that shows you the light loss you get by using this. Can be helpful if you use a external light meter.
