Voigtländer Bessa-R review

Viewfinder:

Very bright and clear and the rangefinder spot is easy to use

Build quality:

Like most modern camers that have a good build quality.
Its built on a solid metal die cast frame. The top and bottom plates are  a composite material.
Solid enough but can´t be compared to Leica M or a old all metal camera.

Lenses:

Uses Leicas old M39 screw mount.

Conclusion:

I love this camera, its fun and easy to use!
Things like the shutter button and the film advance lever have a nice feel to them.
The shutter is also fairly quiet if you compare it to most SLR camera.

This have a built light meter which is placed behind the lens so you get a very accurate reading.
It work by having two curtains between the lens and the film.
The first one is white and this is what the light meter reads from and the second is a normal exposure curtain.
This
unfortunately takes up some space and lenses like the Jupiter-12 35mm f/2.8 that take a lot of space in the camera can´t be used.
