Minolta Hi-Matic F Rangefinder Adjustment

Minolta Hi-Matic F

It is quite easy to adjust this cameras rangefinder both vertically and horizontally.
But you do need to completely remove the cameras top in order to do this.


Removing film rewind knob and the film advance lever.

These screws  must be removed.

There are also four screws holding the hot shoe.

You can now start to adjust the rangefinder and the screw that do this are located under the hot shoe.

There are three screw to use here.
Nr 1:
This is what locks the rangefinder settings in place.
So you need to slightly loose this before you change any other.
Nr: 2
Horizontal adjustment
Nr: 3
Vertical adjustment

And when you're done you tighten the Nr 1 screw.

And then it's all done and you only need to put it back together again.
