Image quality

Wide open have good sharpness and soft corners fairly far out.
But you have some glow effect.
All glow and next to all corner softness is gone by f/2.8.
Light hotspot towards the middle at small apertures.

Build quality

Its from Russia with love!
All metal and is solid as a rock.

Conclusion

Apparently can some old Russian lenses image and built quality vary from lens to lens.
Im very happy with my copy which is not bad at all.

The focus is really light and smooth and you can use one finger without any problem.
Aperture ring is stepless and is well placed at the front of the lens.

Thumbs up:

Thumbs down:
